Can You Sanitize Your Sunglasses?

Sanitizing our favorite accessories is certainly something that most of us never did before the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, being that we are all on a state of hyper vigilance, taking coronavirus precautions is a must. Cleaning and sanitizing sunglasses can be a bit tricky, because perhaps the fear of damaging the shades is a real issue.

All you need to know about how to sanitize sunglasses is to use dish washer soap that doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals. The good thing is that dish soap is relatively harmless because it has zero PH. The PH could harm the sunglasses, but if the soap you are using doesn’t have it, feel free to add a little to the tip of your fingertips and scrub the lenses and the frames carefully. Rinse all of the soap from the sunglasses with warm water, make sure there is no soap residue.

To dry out the sunglasses, make sure to use the cleanest cleaning cloth you own. This is typically a great soft material to use in this moment. Avoid using papers, t-shirts, or anything other than sunglasses cleaning cloths.
